Prof Sulevi Riukulehto (Helsinki Finland):
Apart from engaging in regional history theory since 2014, a project on community’s experiences of homeyness in the Merafong region has also been established with Prof Riukulehto’s visit to South Africa in 2015. Extensive fieldwork was done from which research dissemination should follow from 2016-2017. Prof Riukulehto delivered the keynote address at the 1st Regional History Studies Symposium of 2015.
