I was editor of the Yesterday&Today (its present-day name) from 2006-2014. Through my involvement with the SASHT I was passionately engaged with reviving the former Yesterday and Today//Gister en Vandag (active as journal from 1981-1996, but then seized to exist) to a more acceptable journal, complimentary to the needs of educators of History on all levels and also to move towards an improved quality level of research articles. Eventually the Journal was lead to DHET-accreditation status in 2012.
